Hawaii’s sorta flat for about the next 5 days but it’s been pretty
golden for the past week. Pipe was fucken incredible last Saturday.
Without a doubt the best waves I’ve ever seen. Then off the back of
that swell pipe has still been fun and the same with rocky point.
Keiki had some back snappers on Monday arvo.

Everyone is arriving now so the crowds starting to build and it’s a
sweatfest even for the shit waves but it’s still worth getting one haha.

Last night was the premiere for latest boog flick, “The Lackey Project”. The “Lackey Project” DVD is due to be released with the next installment of Riptide Magazine and is a landmark undertaking by Mr. Lackey himself to produce a 100% dedicated Drop-Knee picture. This latest endeavor caps off a pretty successful 12 months for the man who has also pipped Paul Roach to take the coveted Riptide DK Peer Poll. The film backed by some heavy and fast-paced music (finally) features epic footage of the guys you already know and some lesser known DK guys absolutely tearing-the-bag. A big congratulations must also be said to Alex Jackson who also featured in the faultless production. Yew’s all round lads.

“The waves have been good the past 2 days on the north shore. First day pipe was 6ft with a few bigger bombs. I got 2 fun ones. Rocky point has been good also with punchy ramps and little tubes. There’s swell on the way for pipe on the weekend. I’ll keep you posted. Cheeers”
